On October 15, 2015 at 6:30pm Najee Dorsey, artist for current exhibition on view RESISTANCE will give an artist talk that features heroes from the Civil Rights Movement as well as other 20th Century activists.
In addition to creating art, Dorsey is a major contributor to artistic activism as the CEO and founder of Black Art in America (BAIA), an online portal, focused on documenting, preserving and promoting the contributions of the African American arts community through programming including exhibitions, lectures and performances.
RESISTANCE will be on view until December 5, 2015.
Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday 10:00am-5:00pm and Saturday from 11:00am-5:00pm.
