US Citizenship Naturalization Ceremony

The College of Law will host a US Citizenship Naturalization Ceremony on Thursday, April 4, at noon in the Melanie Gray Ceremonial Courtroom in Dineen Hall.
Seventy-five new citizens will take their oath of allegiance before the Hon. Thérèse Wiley Dancks, US Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of New York, and 1991 graduate of the College of Law. County Executive Ryan McMahon, Syracuse Corporation Counsel and alumna Kristen Smith (representing Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh), and representatives from Congressman John Katko’s (NY-24) office will be in attendance.
The ceremony will be followed by a light reception in Dineen Hall.
The event is free and open to the public.
