You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Scott Bassler, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Friday, August 23, at 11 a.m. in 202 Physics Building.
Bassler’s advisor is Professor John Laiho. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Simon Catterall, G. Scott Watson, Carl Rosenzweig and Peter Saulson. Professor Graham Leuschke will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Euclidean Dynamical Triangulations: Running Couplings and Curvature Correlation Functions.”
