Syracuse University Florence cordially invites you to join us at the Villa Rossa on Thursday, December 5 at 4:00pm for the 33rd annual Graduate Symposium in Renaissance Art. Can’t attend? Don’t worry! The event will be live-streamed here, from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. EST.

Students will present the following papers:

• Caitlin Petty: Lodovico Cigoli’s ‘La bella notomia’: The Flayed Figure, Anatomical Pedagogy, and Corporeal Knowledge circa 1600

• Clio Rom: On Being Planted and Portrayed: Horticulture and Floral Imagery in Seicento Rome through the works of Anna Maria Vaiani
