The Conference on the Changing Nature of Work and Workplaces is a research-oriented conference, organized by the Management Department at Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management, that aims to bring together a small group  of interested scholars from varied disciplines with policymakers and practitioners to discuss current issues and trends related to changes in work and workplaces. This year’s conference will focus on the broad theme of employee mobility, including restrictions on employees and the attendant business implications. Professors Orley Ashenfelter (Princeton) and Olav Sorenson (Yale) are the keynote speakers.
