The gathering will start around 7:45 p.m. It will include a short prayer, a light meal and time for conversation.
During the event, Muslim students will reflect on the importance and impact of fasting and Ramadan on them as Syracuse University students. It is open for all students, and is also great opportunity for non-Muslims to learn more about Ramadan, experience the moment of breaking the fast (Iftar) with their Muslim classmates and friends on the Quad, and share the meal with them. They will also have opportunity to observe a short daily prayer that will take a place prior the meal.
