Employing techniques in teaching that make transparent the why and the how of student performance gives every student the chance to perform well. These techniques also reduce grading challenges by allowing students to evaluate their own work in a manner similar to that of the professor and/or TA. The session is led by Dr. Eve Humphrey, a postdoctoral scholar in Biology at SU and mother of a dissertation. Lunch is provided courtesy of the GSO.
