The Department of Biology presents, Quantifying Cellular “Dynamics”: A conversation between Biologists and a Data Scientist with Dr. Eric Wait. Dr. Wait will discuss how data science is best utilized in microscopy and will take you through the processing pipeline of the three main categories of image analysis. Throughout the talk, he’ll also tie the knowledge of analysis back to writing microscopy grants and papers that emphasize data science. At the end of the presentation, you will also learn how you can utilize the resources of the Advanced Imaging Center (AIC) for your own work.

*Coffee and doughnuts will be served at 2:30 p.m. This event is open to all faculty, post docs and graduate students.
