One of the most powerful steps you can take to improve your health, boost energy levels, and prevent chronic diseases is to move to a plant-based diet.
Plant-based or plant-forward eating patterns focus on foods primarily from plants. This includes not only fruits and vegetables, but also nuts, seeds, oils, whole grains, legumes, and beans. It doesn’t mean that you are vegetarian or vegan and never eat meat or dairy. Rather, you are proportionately choosing more of your foods from plant sources.
Faculty and staff are invited to join Gail Grozalis for this plant-powered eating workshop to learn the what, why and how of plant-based eating. She will offer resources, plant-based meal examples, and have some delicious samples to taste!
