Join Newhouse NYC and the Office of Alumni Engagement for a discussion with Oscar-nominated screenwriter Michael H. Weber ’00 on Thursday, October 17th, 2019.
Weber is a screenwriter and producer of various films, including “The Disaster Artist” (for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay), “The Fault In Our Stars,” “(500) Days of Summer” and “The Spectacular Now.”
Weber will discuss how he broke into the industry while living in New York, share stories about navigating Hollywood, talk about the difference between original screenplays and adaptations and much more. He will be interviewed by his former television, radio and film professor, Evan Smith.
