Featured participating alumni designers in Destination Outdoors will discuss their careers in the Industrial Design field and engage with students and parents.

Glen Walter ‘80

Glen Walter has over 30 years of product development and management experience and is the founder/chairman and CEO of POW Audio, redefining portable speaker capabilities through its transformational, ultra-compact designs. He has designed and/or licensed products for a myriad of companies from Procter & Gamble to Nike and Microsoft to Burton Snowboards totaling over a billion dollars in revenue for his clients and licensors.

Lori Jacobs ‘92

Lori Jacobs has been professionally practicing Fine Art and Industrial Design for over thirty years, specializing in innovative product design, utility patents, and company branding. Her products have been successful globally, in multiple areas of the footwear industry, from athletic to dance, fashion to orthopedic. She is continuing with these areas of interest, while expanding to Animal Companion Products, and Adaptive Living & Accessibility for People with Disabilities. She currently resides in NYC.

Simon JJ Park ‘00

Simon Park is a hands-on industrial designer/manager, specializing in consumer electronics, with a strong track record of launching 60+ mass produced products; many iconic in status, and many with market success. He strives to achieve cohesive look and feel between physical and digital interfaces and innovate products that make sense both rationally and emotionally, making the end user realize what they have wanted all along.
