During Syracuse University’s year-long recognition and celebration of its sesquicentennial, the University will embark on an expansive and meaningful service projects by activating our entire Orange family—from the students, faculty, and staff that make up our campus community to our diverse population of SU alumni across the globe.
Beginning on Friday, October 25, 2019, volunteers representing Syracuse University will underscore what it means to be Orange by sharing their time, talent, and treasure in a variety of ways to better their communities. SU is committed to providing 15,000 hours of community service over 150 days, culminating with the celebration of the University’s 150th Birthday on Tuesday, March 24, 2020—National Orange Day.
