You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Brittany Eggleston, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Friday, October 25, at 9:00 a.m. in 432 Huntington Hall.
Eggleston’s advisor is Professor Tanya Eckert. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Natalie Russo, Leonard Newman, Shannon Sweeney and Les Gellis. Professor Herbert Ruffin will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Examining the Mediational Role of Writing Motivation in the Writing Development of Elementary-Aged Students.”
