You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Laura DeMott, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Wednesday, September 4, at 1 p.m. in 217 Heroy Geology Laboratory.

DeMott’s advisor is Professor Christopher Scholz. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Christopher Junium, Bruce Wilkinson, Mark Teece and Tim Lowenstein. Professor John Tillotson will serve as chair of the defense.  The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Depositional Constraints on Lacustrine Carbonates from the Pyramid Lake and Winnemucca Dry Lake Basins, Nevada, USA.”
