The oral doctoral examination of Heather Waymouth, candidate for Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Wednesday, April 1, at 9:30 a.m.

Waymouth’s advisor is Professor Kathleen Hinchman. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Kelly Chandler-Olcott, Sharon Dotger, Mario Perez and Julia White. Professor Jason Wiles will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Educators’ understanding of scientific sensemaking and literacy: A cultural-historical activity theory analysis.”
