The oral doctoral examination of Rachel Diethorn, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, April 2, at 2p.m.
Diethorn’s advisor is Professor Claudia Miller. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Graham Leuschke, Dan Zacharia, Steven Diaz and Mark Kleiner. Professor Jay Hubisz will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Koszul homology and resolutions over commutative rings.”
