Dissertation Defense: Crystal Hendricks

The oral doctoral examination of Crystal Hendricks, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, April 3, at 10:30 a.m.

Hendricks’ advisor is Professor Lois Agnew. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Krista Kennedy, Eileen Schell, Erin Rand and Stephen Parks. Professor Kishi Animashaun Ducre will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Mobilizing Affect: The Rhetoric and Circulation of Popular Political Satire News Shows.”
