The oral doctoral examination of Sarah Fleming, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 11 a.m.
Fleming’s advisor is Professor Kelly Chandler-Olcott. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Marcelle Haddix, Barbara Stripling, Joseph Shedd and Benjamin Dotger. Professor Lynn Brann will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Classroom as Inquiry Learning Community: A Practitioner Study of Adolescents’ Developing Critical Literacies.”
