The oral doctoral examination of Xiuming Dong, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 8:00 a.m.
Dong’s advisor is Professor Gary Engelhardt. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jeffrey Kubik, Perry Singleton, Alfonso Flores-Lagunes and Alexander Rothenberg. Professor Emily Wiemers will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Economic Impact of Government Regulations on Marijuana and Immigration.”
