The oral doctoral examination of Sara Ledwith, candidate for the PhD degree will be held on Thursday, April 9, at 10 a.m.
Ledwith’s advisor is Professor Marcelle Haddix. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Kelly Chandler-Olcott, Kathleen Hinchman, Christine Ashby and George Theoharis. Professor Patrick Berry will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Secondary Teachers’ Discourses of Content Area Literacy Reform: A Critical Discourse Analysis.”
