With two decades of experience in the broadcasting world as both an agent and talent executive, Gideon Cohen leads The Montag Group’s representation of sports media personalities.

Cohen’s wide range of clients include top network play-by-play voices, NBA, MLB and NFL stars turned broadcasters, studio hosts, national sports radio personalities and other various contributors at networks like ESPN, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, FOX Sports and SiriusXM Radio. Throughout his career, Cohen has scouted and developed talent on all levels, providing feedback, guidance and contract negotiation. Cohen also heads up TMG’s efforts in developing opportunities for clients in the digital space, on podcasts, live events and branded content.

A member of the “IF” family for nearly 20 years, Cohen also spent two years as the head of on-air talent for College Sports Television (CSTV), where he was responsible for recruiting and signing broadcasters for the upstart network (now CBS Sports Network). As the lead talent executive, he consummated deals for more than 100 broadcasters, athletes and coaches, including CBS Sports Host Adam Zucker, MLB Network Host Greg Amsinger, ESPN College Basketball “Gameday” analyst Seth Greenberg and CBS Sports basketball analyst Seth Davis (now all TMG clients).

Cohen was recognized as one of Sports Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” top sports executives in 2019. He was also named as one of The Big Lead’s “40 Under 40: Behind the Scenes in Sports Media” in 2017.

A native of Scarsdale, New York, Cohen holds a Television, Radio and Film degree from the Newhouse School.

Cohen resides in Chappaqua, New York with his wife, Shaari, and children, Mirabella and Levi.
