Dissertation Defense: Zilong Jiao

The oral doctoral examination of Zilong Jiao, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Tuesday, August 4, at 2 p.m. in Zoom.

Jiao’s advisor is Professor Jae C Oh. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Chilukuri K Mohan, Qinru Qiu, Vir Virander Phoha and Garrett E Katz. Professor Young Bai Moon will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Reinforcement Learning for Mobile Robot Collision Avoidance in Navigation Tasks.”
