A webinar with Dr. Beth Patin. The spring of 2020 presented us with many challenges but with challenges come opportunities. Both the COVID-19 pandemic and the history-making civil rights and anti-racism protests across the world, demonstrate the critical need for actionable information during times of crisis. During perilous moments in time, libraries must not be neutral and support their community through safe and informed information practices and resources. This presentation discusses the dangers of neutrality during turbulent times and how to provide essential services to our communities when they need us most.
