Dissertation Defense: Ran Zhu

The oral doctoral examination of Ran Zhu, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, August 13, at 2 p.m. in Microsoft Teams.

Zhu’s advisor is Professor Jesse Quentin Bond. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Viktor J Cybulskis, Ashok Shantilal Sangani, Ian Dean Hosein and Lawrence L Tavlarides. Professor Arindam Chakraborty will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Kinetics of methyl ketone and levulinic acid oxidative scission over supported vanadium oxide catalysts.”
