Emily Francisco (M.A. ’17), an alumna of the Department of Art & Music Histories in the College of Arts and Sciences will lead a “virtual tour” of the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, for the Syracuse University Alumni Club of DC. The event will consist of a 20-minute presentation, followed by networking. Francisco will introduce participants to the museum’s famous I.M. Pei-designed East Building. She will also talk about the history of the museum and look at some recent acquisitions and the status of the National Gallery of Art during the COVID-19 era. All are welcome to attend.
