The oral doctoral examination of Caitlin McDonough, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in Zoom.

McDonough’s advisor is Professor Stephen Dorus. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Scott Pitnick, Eleanor Maine, Melissa Pepling and Roy Welch. Professor Danika Medak-Saltzman will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Imagining the internal reproductive environment: function and evolution of the Drosophila melanogaster female reproductive tract.”
