The oral doctoral examination of John Barruzza, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, December 9, at 11 a.m. in Zoom.

Barruzza’s advisor is Professor Michael R. Ebner. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Laurie Marhoefer, Alan Allport, Junko Takeda and Robert Terrell. Professor Robert A. Rubinstein will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Good Italian, the Bad German, and the Survivor: Narratives and Counter-Narratives of the Shoah in Italy.”
