Presented by the David M. Rezak Music Business Lecture Series
Julia Galvin ’15 followed her love of music into a career building brands and bands in New York City. A graduate of the prestigious Bandier Program in Recording and Entertainment Industries at Syracuse University, Julia graduated magna cum laude in 2015 and shortly thereafter landed her first job in the industry.
Currently a senior marketing manager at The Syndicate, an independent entertainment marketing agency that builds full-scale integrated marketing programs from ideation to execution, Galvin develops strategic marketing campaigns launching records from global superstars like Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Panic! At The Disco, Hayley Williams, Thom Yorke, Green Day, Weezer and more. She serves as one of the campaign leads on Taco Bell’s Feed The Beat program, developing and managing brand programs with artists including 10-time GRAMMY award winners Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, Dillon Francis and Halsey among others. Galvin is also responsible for managing sales and business development for the street marketing department of The Syndicate, which included more than 600 grassroots campaigns in 2019 alone.
Galvin began her career managing the firm’s street marketing team, deploying more than 600 remote marketing representatives to promote thousands of campaigns since she joined the company in 2016.
