You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Raghuvaran Iyer, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Tuesday, February 25, at 1 p.m. in the Life Sciences Complex, room 106.
Iyer’s advisors are Professors Philip N. Borer and Mark S. Braiman. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Bruce S. Hudson, Carlos A. Castaneda and John M. Franck. Professor Ramesh Raina will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Design and Synthesis of a Bistable Aptamer based Three-Segment DNA Switch as a Diagnostic Indicator for HIV-1 NCp7 Detection.”
