The oral doctoral examination of Elise Roberts, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Tuesday, July 28, at 1:30 p.m. in Zoom.

Roberts’s advisor is Professor Daniel McDowell. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Matthew Cleary, James Steinberg, Dimitar Gueorguiev and Erin Hern. Professor Renee de Nevers will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Security After War: A Theory of Security Assistance and Governance in Post-Conflict States.”
