Dissertation Defense: Li CHEN

The oral doctoral examination of Li Chen, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Tuesday, July 28, at 3 p.m. in Zoom.

Chen’s advisor is Professor Carol M Liebler. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Robert J Thompson, Caroline Haythornthwaite, Hua Jiang and Michael S Schoonmaker. Professor Anne E Mosher will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “#MeToo: Networked Celebrity Advocacy as Capital Performance.”
