Dissertation Defense: Spandita Dutta

The oral doctoral examination of Spandita Dutta, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Tuesday, July 28, at 10 a.m. in Zoom.

Dutta’s advisor is Professor James Hewett. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Melissa Pepling, Sandra Hewett, Paul Massa and Torsten Woellert. Professor Shikha Nangia will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Neuromodulation by Endogenous Interleukin-1β in the Hippocampus of the Murine Brain: Regulation Of Neuronal Excitation.”
