Join Varun Soni, dean of religious life at the University of Southern California and the first Hindu to serve as the chief religious or spiritual leader of an American university, and Hendricks Chapel Dean Brian Konkol for a virtual conversation on Tuesday, July 28, at 7 p.m. ET.
The conversation with Varun Soni can be viewed on Facebook Live on Hendricks Chapel’s Facebook page. It is free and available to all, and pre-registration is not required.
Soni is also vice provost of campus wellness and crisis intervention, adjunct professor of religion, and University Fellow at the Annenberg Center on Public Diplomacy. He is a national interfaith leader who has written extensively about spirituality around the world and the importance of interreligious engagement. Soni and Konkol’s discussion will focus on crisis, community-building and living authentically.
This will be the seventh installment of “Matters that Matter: A Conversation Series from Hendricks Chapel,” a virtual series hosted by Hendricks Chapel on Facebook Live, which brings local and national thought leaders together in conversation to discuss critical matters facing society.
