The oral doctoral examination of Yanxiu Chen, candidate for the PhD degree will be held on Thursday, June 18, at 2 p.m. via Blackboard Collaborate.
Chen’s advisor is Professor Amy Criss. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Lynn Lohnas, David Kellen, Michael Kalish and Ryan McAdoo. Professor Julie Niederhoff will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “A Model of Scaffolded Encoding.”
