Experienced graduate advisors and scholarly journal editors demystify the process of journal submission. Get advice on deciding where to submit your work, what to expect from the review process, interacting with editors, and avoiding rookie errors.

Kevin Crowston is Distinguished Professor of Information Science and Associate Dean for Research in the School of Information Studies. He is editor-in-chief of ACM Transactions on Social Computing and co-editor-in-chief of Information Technology and People.

Amy Ellen Schwartz is Professor of Economics and Public Administration and International Affairs, Daniel Patrick Moynihan Chair in Public Affairs, and FPP Faculty Liaison for PAIA. She is past editor of Education Finance and Policy (2014-19).
