This year’s TBTN rally will be hosted virtually on Wednesday, April 15, on Blackboard. Using a NetID and password, Syracuse University community members are invited to log in to Blackboard and experience the virtual rally video series. From ordering your t-shirt to the #IWillTBTN campaign and more, learn how to participate and support on the Virtual Take Back The Night Rally webpage and @BeWellSU.
Take Back the Night (TBTN) is an annual rally, march and speak-out event. Syracuse University campus members and the surrounding community unite to raise awareness of sexual and relationship violence. The rally features several speakers and performances and is followed by a march through campus and its surrounding areas. The speak-out that follows is a way for individuals to share in a safe and supportive space how interpersonal violence has affected their lives.
Consider officially endorsing TBTN by taking the pledge as an organization, department or office. As an endorsing organization you will be recognized with your organization’s name on the back of the TBTN t-shirt, a Daily Orange advertisement and the event program. More details are available in the online pledge form.
TBTN is part of a global initiative to end sexual and relationship violence. For more information on Take Back the Night, visit the Take Back the Night Foundation website.
