Dissertation Defense: David Wolken

The oral doctoral examination of David Wolken, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Wednesday, November 4, at 1:00 p.m. in Zoom.

Wolken’s advisor is Professor Emily Robertson. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Barbara Applebaum, Kenneth Baynes, James Haywood Rolling Jr. and Julia M. White. Professor Elisabeth Lasch-Quinn will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Mindful Inquiry: A Deweyan Assessment of Mindfulness and Education.”
