Tune into a show produced by CNY Jazz Central exclusively for Syracuse University students, faculty and staff! This week the featured artist is Akuma Roots. Access the YouTube concert here (show starts at 8 p.m.). The show will then be available for up to five days.
Akuma Roots is a reggae, afrobeat, and dance hall band sure to get you up out of your seat and onto your feet. Founded by Ghanaian master drummer, David “Etse Brown” Nyadedzor, the band has been a fixture of the Syracuse music scene for over a decade. Check out Akuma Roots on Facebook.
