Join four Indian artists representing various aspects of the artist community discuss the effects of COVID-19 on Mithila Art, both artistically and financially for the future of a community that relies heavily on urban India and tourism for its livelihood. Moderated by Susan Wadley, Professor Emerita of Anthropology along with contemporary Mithila artists Prerna Jha, Shalini Kumari, Rani Jha, and Avinash Karn.
This panel is co-sponsored by the South Asia Center in the Maxwell School of Citizenship, the Art & Music Histories department in the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Humanities Center.
