Join the Office of Undergraduate Academic and Career Advising in the College of Arts and Sciences and Maxwell for a career conversation and networking opportunity with Craig Spitzer ’74, a master marketing researcher. Spitzer received a B.S. in psychology from Syracuse University and earned his A.M. and Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Illinois. All students are welcome.

In his 35-year career, Spitzer provided consumer insight and marketing research support for several highly-recognizable American brands. He led marketing research functions for LeapFrog, Fisher-Price, and Tyco Toys. He also worked for Mattel Toys, the Quaker Oats Company, the Franklin Mint, as well as several other firms, where he served in a consulting role. Spitzer contributed to the branding of Aunt Jemima, Barbie, CamelBak, Celeste Pizza, Disney Channel, Dora the Explorer toys, eBay, Fisher-Price, Franklin Mint Collectibles, He-Man Action Figures, Hot Wheels cars, Intellivision Video Games, LeapPad, Matchbox Cars, MicroPlace, Obopay, Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, Sesame Street toys, and Tyco Radio Control Cars.

He taught consumer behavior for the MBA programs at Rutgers, Camden, and the Haas School at the University of California, Berkeley.
