Dissertation Defense: Arizza Chiara Ibañez

The oral doctoral examination of Arizza Chiara Ibañez, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Thursday, November 12, at 1 p.m. in Zoom.

Ibanez’s advisors are Professor Yan Yeung Luk and Olga Makhlynets. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors, Carlos Castañeda, Michael Sponsler and Wei Wei Zheng. Professor Anthony Garza will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Natural and Synthetic Ligand-Binding Induces Different Pilin Assemblies in vitro and Controls P. aeruginosa Bioactivities in vivo, and Development of Bacterial-Motility Enabled Binding Assays.”
