Virtual Book Launch for English Professor Mike Goode’s “Romantic Capabilities”

Join the Department of English for their virtual celebration of the publication of English professor Mike Goode’s new book, Romantic Capabilities: Blake, Scott, Austen and the New Messages of Old Media by Oxford University Press—nominated for the  Louis Gottshalk Prize which is given out annually by the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies. Distinguished eighteenth-century and romanticist scholar, Ogden Distinguished Service Professor, James Chandler will join to share his impressions of the book and start off a dialogue about the book with Professor Goode.
