Independent curator Evan Starling-Davis and interdisciplinary artist Ivan Forde talk about the necessity of repurposing lost histories and legacies within present-day artmaking, the responsibility and advocacy of art institutions, and Afro-surrealism as a socially conscious point of entry for this work to be imagined.
