The oral doctoral examination of Monica Burris, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Monday, November 30, at 1:30 p.m in Zoom.

Burris’s advisor is Professor Tiffany A. Koszalka. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Joseph Shedd, Kathleen Hinchman, Mario Rios Perez and R. Deborah Davis. Professor Tanya L. Eckert will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Interactive Whiteboard-Supported Social Studies Instruction: Case Studies Exploring Current Practices of Middle School History Teachers.”
