India-China Relations: Past, Present and Future
Clashes between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley during May and June 2020 marked the most direct conflict between the two countries in decades. In this round table event, Professor James Steinberg will talk with three experts on India and China to better understand the current tensions between India and China as well as the historical roots of the conflict. The panelists will also discuss what this on-going conflict means for other countries in the region as well as relations with the United States.
Panelists include: Arunabh Ghosh, Tanvi Madan and Yun Sun
The event is being co-sponsored by the East Asia Program, International Relations Program, Department of Public Administration and International Affairs, and Department of Political Science.
