WiSE Women of Color in STEM (WWoCS) program
Teaching issues of diversity is easy; helping people see how they are contributing to long-standing problems of diversity is hard, especially for people in a minority group – including women of color in STEM.
Professor Charisse L’Pree will focus on how to talk back to systems of power in a professional setting to ensure that your voice and experiences are heard, understood, and incorporated into creating a more inclusive environment.
This event is intended for women in STEM students/faculty who self-identify as a person of color.
Offered by WiSE (Women in Science and Engineering).
This event was published on September 24, 2020.
