As we move into midterm season, many teaching assistants will find themselves flooded with grade disputes and change requests, many of which are based on little more than a desire to have a better grade. This session, led by teaching mentor and graduate student Meagan Bojarski (communications and rhetorical studies), talks about what grade grubbing is, some common strategies students might use, how to prepare yourself for these situations, and some tips on what to do when you are faced with an unreasonable grade change request.  Bring your questions and come for a lively and relevant discussion.
