Join us for a conversation with world-renowned pioneer in integrative medicine and personal transformation, Dr. Deepak Chopra, founder of Chopra Global. Chopra has been at the forefront of health and wellness for more than two decades and has been a leading voice in how to manage stress and mental setbacks caused by the health pandemic and social unrest. Mike Tirico ’88, sportscaster with NBC Sports and Syracuse University trustee, will interview Dr. Chopra about meditation, mindfulness and self-care practices to navigate these uncertain times.
Dr. Deepak Chopra is the founder of Chopra Global, a leading whole health company, and The Chopra Foundation, a non-profit entity for research on well-being and humanitarianism. He is a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health at the University of California, San Diego and serves as a senior scientist with Gallup Organization. For the last thirty years, Chopra has been at the forefront of the meditation revolution and has authored over 90 books translated into over forty-three languages, including numerous New York Times bestsellers. His latest book, Total Meditation helps to achieve new dimensions of stress-free and joyful living. The new Chopra Meditation and Well-being App is available on iOS and features a comprehensive library of simple self-care guidance and meditations for mind, body and spirit. TIME magazine has described Dr. Chopra as “one of the top 100 heroes and icons of the century.”
