Especially for discussions requiring trust and vulnerability, storytelling creates safe spaces for open conversation, connection, and exploration of the identities that make us unique. This workshop will focus on how we can each share our personal stories and will describe how creating and telling our stories fosters empathy and builds community. Attendees leave with a road map to create and share their own diverse stories. We discuss the importance of being a receptive listener, as well as determining when and to whom a story should be told.
