The Newhouse School will host a virtual conversation with Leonard Downie Jr., author of “All About the Story: News, Power, Politics and The Washington Post.”

Downie spent 44 years at The Washington Post, including 17 years as executive editor. He was also an investigative reporter, an editor of the paper’s Watergate stories, local news editor, foreign correspondent, national news editor and managing editor. He is now the Weil Family Professor at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.

Jodi Upton, Newhouse’s Knight Chair in Data and Explanatory Journalism, will moderate the event.
